Onboarding Survey #1

Please complete all the information below, so that we can best accommodate your experience as a member of the RY Nation.

While you only need to complete this once, if you would like to change your answers at any time, you can come back to this page and resubmit. It is important that you review this information, especially passport details, before your next program start date.

We use WhatsApp for group communication just before and during any program, so please provide the correct phone number, including your country code. We will not contact you on this number except for Program related updates. If you don’t have WhatsApp, it’s free to download from all App stores. It would be great if you could please make sure you have your name and a photo on your profile too so that our team knows who you are. If your first time with Remote Year is traveling on a 1-month program, and have opted out of RY accommodation, we still kindly ask you to still submit accommodation / living preferences so we have it stored, in the event we provide accommodation for you on another program. Once you have submitted the survey, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your responses. If your passport expires, you do not need to update your passport details with us. The only time we would need updated details is if you were to change the name on your passport.

Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your data with any other organizations, and is used specifically in relation to your experience on Remote Year programs. If you would like us to delete your data at the time of your membership expiry, please let us know. If you do rejoin us at any time in the future, you would be required to submit the survey again.
