When you join the Inca program, you'll be taking part in an unforgettable month living like a local in Peru - one world’s top destinations for culinary exploration, watercolor sunsets, ancient history and sites, and unbelievable surfing.
Respectfully named after the ancient Inca civilization - the largest empire in pre-Columbian America, the Inca Work and Travel program gives you the foundation to experience a culturally rich life in Peru alongside a community of driven professionals also working remotely.
The capital city of Lima, known as “City of Kings,” is both modern and traditional, sitting alongside the Pacific Ocean coastline with easy access to beautiful beaches and magnificent stunning cliffs. If that's not enough, Lima is also surrounded by dry deserts and snowless mountains.
While living like a local in Lima on the Inca program, you can start your days surfing at sunrise, enjoying an outdoor workout in the parks each afternoon, and finishing your day with a smooth pisco sour and lomo saltado.
When you have a weekend free, you can head to Cusco to see the brilliant Machu Picchu with your Remote Year community.
You will be staying in spacious, private bedrooms within 2-3 bedroom apartments within walking distance from the workspace. You’ll love the great location and beautiful views all around you. There may be options to upgrade to a private apartment after booking.
You are responsible for your flight to the Remote Year destination city and your flight out from the destination. You are also responsible for all visas and travel insurance needed. Meals are also not included.
Program sizes always vary, but we usually have between 25-40 people on each program.

The full policy around visitors in Remote Year accommodations varies per destination, accommodation, and the preferences of your roommate(s) (if you have one or more). The comfort and space for your visitor will vary greatly by accommodation, so it will be up to you to determine if your living space is sufficient for your visitor. Visitors must be approved by the Program Leader and roommates. When they can be accommodated, visitors can stay in Remote Year accommodations for a maximum of 3 nights of any single month.
