Our Anansi program is named after one of the most important characters of West African, African American, and Caribbean folklore. Anansi often takes the shape of a spider, and he is known for his ability to outsmart opponents through his use of cunning, creativity, and wit. Anansi's tales were transmitted to the Caribbean by way of the transatlantic slave trade, and he is regarded as the god of stories.
From the beautiful beaches of Bali to the majestic mountains of Chiang Mai and beyond, our Anansi program delivers the best of Southeast and Eastern Asia.
