Unlike our Itinerary programs that visit multiple cities, this one-month offering is for the professional that still wants to immerse themselves in a new lifestyle and take advantage of the Remote Year platform and community for a shorter amount of time due to personal or work-related limitation.

Program Costs & What's Included

Down Payment:
$1,300

Paid when you officially sign up for a Remote Year program to secure your spot. This first payment shows us your serious commitment to a program and affords us the confidence to begin booking all of your arrangements on your behalf through our travel and city teams.

Fee Per Month:
$2,000

Paid 30 days after your downpayment is submitted. The fee covers everything included in that city and can be thought of as "paying rent" except instead of just covering your accommodations, you're also getting on-site support, experiences, programming, events, and much much more.

Onboarding Support

Our team will answer your questions provide you with the resources to prepare for your adventure.

Airport Pickup

Our team will be at the airport to pick you up and welcome you with open arms.

Accommodations

A private, furnished room in each city, usually in an apartment with fellow participants and option to upgrade.

24/7 Workspace

A coworking space in a popular part of the city within walking distance of your accommodations.

Program and Local City Staff

A Remote Year program leader dedicated to each group as well as local staff on the ground in each city.

Social and Professional Events

We plan events to socialize with your group and locals from the city you're staying in to meet new people.

FAQs

  • What is a "Base City"?

    The base city will be your home base for the month and it is where you accommodation and workspace will be located. Most of your day to day and experiences will be located in your base city, however our local team will also plan experiences in other parts of the country or you can choose to go on other excursions on your own.

  • Is Destinations a good fit for me?

    Only you can make the final decision but our Program Consultants can help you decide which program best fits your goals. A few questions to ask yourself that have helped some of our Destination participants make their final decision:

    Do you have a pet/child/significant other or other constraints like work that limits you from traveling for longer than a month? Are you very happy with your current lifestyle but you are just looking for some inspiration and to build your network?

    If you answered yes to any of the above questions Destinations would be a perfect program for you.

  • Can you tell me more about the accommodations? Can I live alone?

    Our typical accommodations will be shared living situations (usually 2-3 bedroom apartments) where you will always have a private room to yourself! If you are interested in living alone, you will have the option to upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment for an additional fee during your Onboarding process.
